Adobe Flex 4 free

Adobe is offering Flex Builder for free... to students, and faculty, here are the details:

Can students and faculty get Flex Builder for free?

Yes. Starting on Nov. 1, 2007, Adobe is making Flex Builder 2 with Charting free for qualified students and faculty. Students and faculty will be able to get serial numbers to activate downloadable trial versions by registering on the Flex Registration site which can be accessed through a link on the Adobe Developer Connection. During registration, you will be prompted to upload a copy of your student or faculty ID or you can upload a letter on institutional letterhead proving your current affiliation with an educational institution. Once validated, you will be emailed a free educational serial number for Flex Builder 2 with Charting. It may take up to two weeks after the request for you to receive the serial numbers.


What students and faculty are eligible to get Flex Builder for free?

The offer is open to all students and faculty at educational institutions who are:

* Full or part time students enrolled at higher education institutions defined as accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time study
* Full or part time faculty employed by accredited K-12 and higher education institutions
* Students enrolled in grades K-12 at an accredited public or private primary or secondary school providing full-time instruction

This offer is not available to staff employed by accredited K-12 and higher education institutions.
